Overview

CAEYC Mission and Goals

CAEYC, a professional membership organization, serves and acts on behalf of early childhood educators through advocacy, leadership and professional development.

CAEYC Goals:

  1. To promote high quality developmentally appropriate, accessible early childhood care and educational services for Colorado children from birth to age 8.
  2. To offer professional development opportunities to early childhood educators.
  3. To advocate for improved compensation, working conditions, and recognition for individuals in the early childhood profession.
  4. To educate and influence policymakers, elected officials and the public at large to achieve the mission and goals of CAEYC.
  5. To cooperate with local, state, and national organizations and agencies working with and for young children.

Types of Memberships:

Comprehensive: $100
Regular/Affiliate:
$56
Student:
$40

Comprehensive – provides a copy of six (6) new publications issued by NAEYC during the membership year at no extra cost and all CAEYC benefits.

Regular/Affiliate – includes all CAEYC benefits.

Student – is available to students currently enrolled in professional preparation (CDA, associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree) only -  includes all CAEYC benefits.

Dues are payable annually and are tax deductible. Membership applications are welcome at any time.
