We remain hard at work in Larimer County; it was a busy fall/winter. We welcomed Megan Reed as our new treasurer and hosted 3 trainings. Katy Little who presented TELL ME A STORY: Enhance and increase communication skills through STORY!, Ernie Batson who presented Fire And Ice: Learn about Glaciers and Volcanoes while doing hands-on activities with Ernie and Vicky Hays who presented Techie Kids In Child Care.
We are now preparing for our annual Provider Appreciation Brunch in celebration of MOYC. Our Presenter is Dr. Lindsey Guccione from UNC who will be presenting: Early Years are Learning Years: Teachers Making a Difference. Our brunch will take place, Saturday, April 28, 2012 9:00 a.m. to Noon at Christ United Methodist Church301 E. Drake Road, Fort Collins. We look forward to this event and are receiving extra help from MOYC committee members Katelynn Austin, Gabriele Bergmann, Robin Leaf and Stephanie Owens-Stiner. This is a big event and we are grateful to these ladies for their participation.
